KieranTimberlake is currently looking for a Climate Action Coordinator to join our team. Our design practice includes more than 90 professionals from diverse backgrounds and is recognized around the world as a leader in sustainable design. Responsibilities

The Climate Action Coordinator will work alongside company partners, the 2030 leadership team and the director of research to advance the company’s pursuit of resilient design solutions for buildings and cities. . Coordination tasks are divided between internal support of our work on selected initiatives and external support of our work on industry-wide committees. Overall, the coordinator will help implement the company’s sustainability action plan, and his main responsibilities will include the following:

  • Work with the 2030 leadership team to monitor the progress of workflows associated with the company’s sustainability action plan
  • Aggregate and organize objectives, benchmarks and performance measures across the company’s architectural projects
  • Planning and implementation of the annual program of internal conferences on topics related to sustainable development
  • Identify and connect staff to training opportunities, certifications and resources focused on sustainability
  • Collaborate with the firm’s research director to coordinate the work of national and international sustainable development committees
  • Prepare committee meeting documents and follow workflows as needed
  • Identify new topics in sustainable development as needed
  • Learn or assess new sustainability frameworks or certification programs as needed
  • Identify opportunities for advocacy on environmental policy
  • Identify opportunities to publish climate-focused writing with the company’s communications group

The position reports to the research director. The salary is proportional to professional experience, level of education and demonstrated knowledge.
